Kaneland Sports Boosters

The Kaneland Sports Boosters (KSB) is a state chartered, non-profit organization established for the purpose of enhancing athletic programs at Kaneland High School. It is through membership dues, concession sales, and other fundraising activities the KSB raises these monies. We depend on volunteers to make it all happen.

Our Objectives

  1. To provide positive support for all IHSA athletic activities,
  2. To create and improve public interest in all Kaneland athletic activities,
  3. To cooperate with and assist Kaneland school administrators in the promotion of these activities, and
  4. To raise monies for the sole purpose of funding athletic activities.

2011-2012 Purchases by Boosters

In addition to awarding sports scholarships to our student-athletes and supporting the end-of-season athletic banquets each year, the boosters have used fundraising monies to purchase the following types of athletic equipment.

  • Shed for KHS SOFTBALL
  • Team banners for the East Gym: 2006 5A Football Semi-Finals, 2010 5A Football Semi-Finals, 2010 Track Team and 2011 Baseball 3A State Champions
  • Break-away banner for KHS FOOTBALL team to run through
  • Sound system for KHS CHEERLEADING
  • New padding on E & W walls in the East Gym
  • Netting for KHS VARSITY BASEBALL Field
  • ncentives for KHS BOWLING
  • Training equipment and bases for KHS SOFTBALL
  • Tournament entry fee, new bats and plaque for “Lady Knight” award for KHS SOFTBALL
  • Transportation to state-level competitions for KHS TENNIS, KHS WRESTLING, KHS CHEERLEADING and HARTER MIDDLE SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY TEAM
  • New lettering to replace that which was peeling off on scoreboard for KHS FOOTBALL
  • Knight's Shield logo addition to the outside of the press box at the stadium
  • Pole vaulting pit and necessities that go with it, for KHS TRACK
